HID-RELAY HARNESS for Side X
Side vehicles
Relay - 30/40 Amp Relay with screw down terminal
Wire Gauge – 12 Gauge wire for main power and ground
Wire Length – Battery to relay (60 Inches)
Relay to Ballast 1 (12 Inches)
Relay to Ballast 2 (12 Inches)
Relay to 886 Plug (24 Inches)
Fuse – 30 amp fuse 6 Inches from battery on red wire
Battery Terminals – To accommodate a 10mm bolt on red and
black wires
Wire Loom – Must be on all wires including main power wires
Plugs – This is a plug and play kit. All ballast, battery
and trigger connections must come pre-installed on the
harness.
Run power and ground to battery (it is ok if needed to
lengthen leads at battery) mount relay under hood near the
ballasts, unplug stock headlight power leads from both
driver and passenger side, you can tie up passenger side it
will not be used. Plug in relay powers to Vision X ballasts;
plug driver side stock headlight power lead into relay
harness (oval plug). Please make sure all wires are tied up
and will not be exposed to the Off Road elements.
The kit is designed to only use the stock dash headlight
switch to ignite the relay; this will allow all the direct
power from the battery to go to the HID lights. Only some
Arctic Cat and Polaris vehicles with 07 and newer computers
may need this kit.
