Installation instructions for Arctic Cat
Prowler
Open front hood, remove outer bulbs from
stock head light fixture(see image)
Install Vision
X HID bulbs were stock ones were (see image)
Mount
Starter Ballast on outer frame horn of Prowler (see image).
Make sure the length is OK from ballast to bulb and not to
short. You can use Self Tapping screws, please add silicone
to screw, it helps prevent the screw from backing out under
vibrations. Still check occasionally.
Plug Vision X
Bulbs into Vision X Ballast
Peal back black
protective tape 4 from stock bulb wiring harness, and
remove original bulb plug (cut off)
Install new
Vision X weather connectors on the end of these wires (white
is power and black is ground) when cutting make sure all
lengths are proper and not to short or long.
Make
sure you install Vision X connector on the white wire that
will mate with the red wire on HID power lead, and black to
black on the ground.
Please make sure you attached
the proper connector to the wires from stock loom.
Note This kit is used on the LOW beam of the stock lights,
so when you activate the high beam on the dash the HID and
the high beam will come on. This is no problem, and the high
beam will be barely visible with the LOW beam HID lights on.
After you install our Vision X system, please make
sure all wires are zip tied tightly, and nothing is exposed
or left hanging down.
